I know, I understand, but just wondering what do you do with your costume after all the fab times on the road have come to a finito?
Do you give pieces away, store them and or take them back with you?
Personally, I not giving away a single thing!! I paid for it and I taking it back with me! *thinking about my present 2011 costume and thinking of possibly FEDEX to get it back to the North!*
I just went around my home and snapped a few that I have up, one from Trini a piece of a backpack Circa Carnival 2004 and some pieces from Caribana 2010, it too cold for me to to go to the garage to snap some other pieces, lol.
Some other options are:
- keep costume and wear it at another Carnival
- create art out of it. *I have a gf who is in the process of turning her Spice 2009 costume into a lamp*
- wear it around the house and ever so often wear it outside when you do the gardening so the neighbors can see what a total loon you are, yet a very sexy one ;)
I put on the headpiece and walk around the house sometimes. My boyshorts are worn to the beach.
