First things first - don't believe rumors - we've been giving you all the vibes direct on the YUMA page. Yuma's route is determined by vibes and we will focus on the enjoyment of masqueraders (we've said this before). We want action and are all about movement. The parade route will be determined by - well the NCC/NCBA (you can't create your own route)- and of course, to ensure our YUMAs have energy on the road and have a chance to show off the YUMA vibe to the world. And let me just say that I don't mind not following said regular route where you stand for such a long time in the blazing heat and hot sun, to cross not a real stage but the final judging point!
Well I will mind if we do not cross the stage in the Savannah, it's the most exhilirating feeling in the world. So once we do that I good.
ReplyDeleteLol, I don't like not having a real stage, I get so bored whenever we're approaching a judging point and it's just the road with peeps on the side. It's not the grand finish I love at all. :(
ReplyDeletei luv goin downtown.however, if the savannah stage truly comin back next year then crossin that takes precedence over all other stages,i don't care which route they take to get there.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen construction which makes you believe that a stage is being constructed?? PICS please :)!
ReplyDeleteAll the years of crossing a stage, and I've been playing since 1990, I adore the stage. I don't mind if the band does not cross the "fake stage", we can keep on moving and moving and moving.
ReplyDeleteThe big stage is coming back, the new minister of culture say so, lol.. Yuma don't put God out of your thoughts and not cross that stage, that will be serious problems for the positive Yuma vibes
