Costume Swap

Hello YUMARADERS' many of you have emailed asking,

Tricia from Baltimore asks:-
"I purchased my costume from an individual, but on YUMA's site it states that costume swaps etc is not honored. My question is, how do I collect the costume I now own from a past owner?"

Dear Tricia, many bands have the NO TRANSFER, SWAPPING POLICY, however since circumstances cannot be helped etc, I would suggest contacting the seller and obtain a letter, along with registered information, and some sort of identification. *necessary info can be removed* and take this to the camp along with the receipt. Also, have the seller email the camp alerting them to this change, so there will be no delays and or situations.

I also emailed the PR Rep for the band and was informed;
"Registration information states transfers and swaps are not possible. This is standard proceedure with most bands.

Costume collection requires Identification.

Those with a challenge should email the camp where, if possible any assistance will be rendered within our policies.

Best,

YUMA."

Best of luck everyone.

  1. I do not know why these mas bands go on about this issue. As long as the individual has the Receipt for the costume, what does it matter if Amanda Fortuna purchased it and Sold it to Claudia Bing? Ugh...get over yourselves bands!
