After playing mas for so many years and have had many a variety of headpieces and backpacks etc, I LOVE a great big combo, however, if I had to pick just one preference, I would take a large backpack. I was looking at some pics and vids of some of the models at the band launches and their hands were always touching or holding their headpieces, because they were tilting and moving etc.
Now, if that happens at the launch, what will be while you're on the road and a good wind hits you head on etc.?
I hope YUMA makes those grand headpieces perfectly with good support, because I for one don't like to be without my headpiece, and I won't like to have to be constantly holding it in place every two seconds.

I had a bad experience with a backpack once before, so I say no to backpacks. I dont know if they are all like this, but the one i had was cumbersome to manouever with and i kept hitting ppl with it as i pass, sometimes taking pieces of costumes with me :( Needless to say, taht backpack didnt even make it unto the first stage crossing! I would rather a big headpiece once its sturdy as you say
ReplyDeleteI would not mind a combo, but like you said the headpiece must be sturdy as the Rock of Gibraltar.
ReplyDeleteI prefer grand headpiece, backpacks etc tend to get caught up on people and things etc. what if I want to do a handstand whine etc.? :)
